Korean Airlines – Development As Well As Achievements

The native people of the Canary Islands

The indigenous people of the Canary Islands are known as the Guanches. They are generally thought to be the original inhabitants, but there is some evidence to suggest otherwise. The Mauritanian explorations of the islands, documented by the 1st Century AD Roman author Pliny the Elder, apparently did not find any people, but did find large structures thought to have been left by precious settlers. The Guanches, if not the first, are the first documented settlers of the Canary Islands. Their origin, however, can be traced to North Africa.
